Biography

Amine Laourine received the Diplome d'ingenieur from the Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie (Tunisia Polytechnic School) in 2005 and a Master degree in telecommunications from the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) in 2007. Since August 2007 he has been a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University. He received the best paper award at the wireless communication symposium in Globecom'07, the Irwin and Joanne Jacobs's fellowship from Cornell University in 2007, the Rene-Fortier scholarship from Bell Canada and the Tunisian Government fellowship for academic excellence in 2006.
